KCK, Here I come!
Friends!! I am SO excited to announce and share that following my graduation from Lipscomb, this December, I will be moving to Kansas City to work as a missionary there. I will be working with the ministry, Barefoot Mission, and live and work down there for a year. This past summer I had the opportunity to join- alongside and minister and a supporting church of Barefoot Mission. I'm truly stoked for this opportunity and can't wait to see how the Lord moves through Barefoot Mission and in Kansas City through this upcoming year.

Barefoot Mission exists to "bring sustainable and holistic change to urban areas through a ministry of presence". In assessment of the needs of the community that Barefoot Mission serves, most recently, they are working to open up Grounded Sole Coffeehouse, which will prayerfully serve as a place of gathering, refuge and the Spirit of God! My role at Barefoot will include many things none the least of which include ministry by means of discipleship, fostering community, programming, and being present!

I'm truly, truly thrilled for this opportunity, for many reasons, the Lord was very clearly lining thing up along my path for this.
