The Lord has gone before you and already won your battles
All that is left for us is to worship and bow down. The victory has been won. REST in this.
You go before I know
That You've even gone to win my war
You come back with the head of my enemy
You come back and You call it my victory

Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you. –Deuteronomy 31:18
Jesus is closer to you than the very air in your lungs.
He surrounds you, in the fullest, all enveloping, bear-hug kind of way, he is clinging to now and for all of eternity. If you walked around like London Tipton's dad you would be utterly fearless. Lemme just tell you, Mr. Tipton's bodyguard don't got nothing on my God.
Just as the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people, both now and forever. –Psalms 125:2
I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. – Ezekiel 37:27 (Cross-referenced more than 50 times!)
Your finals are NOT eternally significance
Our entire lives for five months have all lead up to finals, no matter what format they may take. On the day that you come face to face with our King, look into his eyes of fire, met your maker He is not going to ask you the grade assigned to you on a test that He did not assign. The Lord your God who knit you together and created you for your very time will want to hear about how you loved, how you pursued His heart and His holiness, and how you testified in every capacity to His truth and His goodness. But truly I tell you, there is no GPA requirement in heaven. Hold steadfast to the things God, this week and every week.
But to those called by God to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. This foolish plan of God is wiser than the wisest of human plans, and God’s weakness is stronger than the greatest of human strength.
Remember, dear brothers and sisters, that few of you were wise in the world’s eyes or powerful or wealthy when God called you. Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful. God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important. – 1 Corinthians 1:24-28
Sis, you have time to read your Bible
Get into Word this week especially! If for no other than for what you give to God, He multiplies, read your Bible this week. If you give to God your time, He will bless your time in other areas– when do you need more time and blessings than during finals week?
Crack the good book though too because it's a love letter addressed to you personally from somebody who wishes, more earnestly than anyone this side of heaven could fathom for YOU to reach and cry out to him "Abba, Father!"
Meditate on this with me...
That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?
And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? – Matthew 6:25-30
Like, are you joking me? That is the King we serve!
May the Lord bless you and keep you,
mad dog
